This week Asoc. Prof. Katalin Feher will give speak about the role of the artificial intelligence (AI) in communication and media. Feher’ s research interests include the impact of sociotechnical systems, media and AI, and ethical issues of AI.

The schedule of K. Feher's lectures:

  • On November 22, at 16.30-18.00 "AI in media and communication" in the course of Asoc. Prof. Visvaldis Valtenbergs "International Communication and Globalization", aud. 414.
  • On November 22, at 18.15-21.30 "AI in media and communication. Generative AI and communication. Synthetic, Fake and Metamedia. AI ethics in media and communication” in the course of Asoc. Prof. Visvaldis Valtenbergs  "Data society management," aud. 316.

Bio

Dr. Katalin Feher is Associate Professor at the University of Public Service, Scholar of the EU transatlantic Horizon NGI program, Fulbright Alumna, Vice President of ECREA Mediatization, Founder of AI Media Research, Bolyai PostDoc Fellow of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Visiting Professor at the Masaryk University and member of the University of Southern California MASTS. Her research interests include the impact of sociotechnical systems, AI media and AI ethics.
